How it works

Opinionbricks allows any provider to give feedback to any participant after rejecting him/her or after paying him/her

  • Provider: How can I pay to a participant?

Answer: Opinionbricks is partnered with Stripe to make safe and easy payments possible. So, you can easily use your Credit/Debit card in Opinionbricks to make a payment.

  • Participant: How do I get paid?

Answer: You can easily create an account with Stripe and connect it with Opinionbricks. In that case, any provider can pay you safely when they approve the quality of your submissions. Below are the steps that you need to take:

  1. Login to Opinionbricks and choose your role as participant. Then select Stripe and click on “Connect with Stripe”. You then need to create an account with Stripe.
  2. Enter your email address. You can use any email address but to avoid confusions it is better that your email address in Stripe to be as same as the one used for Opinionbricks account.
  3. Choose a strong password.
  4. Enter your mobile phone number.
  5. Verify your email address and your phone number.
  6. Save your secret emergency backup code.
  7. Choose your business address. If you are an individual simply choose your country of residency or the country that your bank account is located. Note that in Step 9, you need to provide your address and Tax-ID based on the country that you choose in this step.
  8. Choose your type of business. If you are an individual simply select “Individual”.
  9. Enter your personal info and also Tax-ID info.
  10. Now you need to explain how you plan to make money using Opinionbricks. If you are an individual and just want to participate in surveys and provide your opinions then you can choose (for example) “Other Personal Services” under “Personal Service” category. Also, you can provide your LinkedIn profile as your website if you don’t have one. Finally, if you are an individual then, in the “Product Description” you can write for example “I will make money through Opinionbricks by providing my opinions and/or some data that belongs to me”.
  11. Now you need to enter some public info about how the providers in Opinionbricks who have paid you can reach out to you (if needed). An important piece of public info is “Statement Descriptor” which appears as your name on the receipt that providers will receive when they pay you through Stripe. For Statement Descriptor”, you can use your name or any business name that describes your services in Opinionbricks better. For the “Shortened Descriptor”, you can use a very short description of what services you provide in Opinionbricks such as “Opinion” or “Data”. Finally, note that that the address field is optional and you can skip it (if you want), but you need to provide a phone number.
  12. Next you can choose to make donations from your revenue in Opinionbricks. You can skip it if you do not want to.
  13. Review and submit your account info and and go back to your Opinionbricks.
  14. In Opinionbricks choose Stripe. Click on “Connect with Stripe” if you still see it. Then enter your Stripe login info. Then you will be automatically connected to Stripe and should no longer see “Connect with Stripe” on Opinionbricks. Instead, you should see “Stripe Account Connected” on Opinionbricks.
